Message In A Poppy by Jan Fieuw
Here is something truly extraordinary.
Jan Fieuw an artist from Belgium who creates a moulded poppy made from ammunition shot found on the battlefields.
This version sold by myself is a remembrance poppy made from lead shrapnel balls found in the WW1 battlefields of Flanders, Belgium or in France and mounted on a printed card. Shipped from the UK.
It is also possible to have a personalised Message in a Poppy.
But for that you have to speak to Jan personally and that is another concept and price.
A personalised poppy brooch is hand-crafted from lead balls found inside WW1 bombs. These lead balls will be found on the battlefields where your relative fought or died. Inside the box you will find documents with the coordinates of the exact location, together with a certificate of authentication signed by myself. Included in the project - Research work, overlay historical trench maps onto Google maps, fieldwork with pictures and reference coordinates, manufacturing the lead poppy and more.
